Being raised in a Caribbean (Trinidadian) household in New York, Drea has developed a very eclectic appreciation for music. From the foundation sounds of calypso, reggae, and hip-hop, all of which she infused with her personal love for soca, dancehall, afrobeat & rap. Drea's range is endless. This combination has given her a kaleidoscope of musical influence which has molded her into the dj she is today, translating onto sets local and International.

Lady Drea is all about being different, setting trends and earning the title of many firsts. From her scratching ability and love for the art of turntablism to her unique MC’ing. Every event Drea Plays for, she tries her best to deliver what the people want yet always finds a way to throw in some of her personal favorites and showcase her scratching that gives her set that unique vibe.

 

      Drea is one of the youngest and highly skilled disc jockeys that has built her name and earned the respect of several top foundation disc jockeys male and female, both locally and internationally. Drea is no stranger to hard work and determination.

 

      In late 2010 her older brother decided to buy a pair of turntables. They both began to teach themselves the art of mixing and blending records. Over time they started to DJ Bbqs and small gatherings for personal friends.It wasn’t until 2012 Lady Drea started pursuing her dream to be a Dj and finding her place in mainly the Caribbean nightlife. The years 2015 and 16 were great pivotal points in her career as she expeditiously gained her first “International booking” experiences during that time.

 

      Since then Lady Drea knew being a travel Dj was something she was very interested in and quickly became a rising star in the Music/ Club/ Dj Scene.

Spinning on all the hot Caribbean parties in NYC, She has even managed to take her talents throughout the U.S and other countries such as;Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Barbados, St Kitts & Nevis, Belize, St Croix Vi, Europe (Rotterdam & London), Florida (Orlando, Tampa & Miami), Canada (Toronto, Montreal, & Edmonton), Atlanta, California, Houston, Boston, Connecticut and New Jersey.

 

      Lady Drea continues to reinvent herself with innovative ideas along with her Team branded “L.D.E” (Lady Drea Entertainment Enterprise) You can expect more upscale, sexy events from Lady Drea and the Entire L.D.E. Team. This includes Ultra a summer time fete during the NYC Labor Day season and her annual birthday celebration called enigma. Although her love for music is undeniable, Lady Drea is a current medical student. It is a long journey towards her long-term career goal and she won’t stop until she reaches that goal.
